The day and the night both was just made for Nepali yesterday here in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia. It was one of the biggest crowd I have seen ever in Darling Harbour. There was a Chinese community’s function too but Nepalese community were too big than them.
It was the festival of cherish and chores which was celebrated here in Sydney after it was usefully celebrated in Melbourne. It was big, it was tasteful and it was musical and with the positive note of we Nepalese are together wherever we be.
Lots of Nepalese local bands from here also performed with lots of other classical songs and dances and the main attraction was The Axe Band which was invited from Nepal specially to perform here. They were with their full band members and gave a 6 big numbers to the big crowd of we nepali.
Food stalls were there with different varieties of Nepalese food including Newari Khana Ghar, Thakali Cuisine, and lots other displaying Samaya Baji, Sel Roti with tarkari and masu, and other lots of varieties. Even the college were also there with their stalls promoting their education business and supporting Nepal Festival.
